Board and Committees

You are encouraged and invited to participate in the Bent Tree Property Owners Association Board of Directors and committees. These entities help preserve the fine features that attract residents to Bent Tree.  Some committees are required by the Bylaws and Declarations of Protective Covenants; other committees have formed out of need and homeowner interest:

BOARD OF DIRECTORS.  See bylaws

ARCHITECTURAL CONTROL COMMITTEE and COVENANT COMPLIANCE COMMITTEE.  See covenants and bylaws

WELCOMING.   The Welcoming Committee provides new residents information about Bent Tree and the Tri-Lakes area.  Personal visits are made whenever possible.

BEAUTIFICATION AND TRAILS.  The Beautification and Trails Committee facilitates the maintenance of entrances, trails, and plantings throughout Bent Tree.

FOREST MANAGEMENT.   The Forest Management Committee assists property owners in becoming good stewards of the forest and land by providing education and resources and overseeing neighborhood-wide forestry issues.

NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH/SECURITY.  The Neighborhood Watch/Security Committee facilitates crime prevention efforts throughout Bent Tree. This includes gathering crime statistics and organizing neighborhood watch meetings.

NEWSLETTER.  The Newsletter Committee publishes the Bent Tree Log newsletter, an important vehicle for the exchange of information in Bent Tree.

WATER AUGMENTATION.  The Water Augmentation Committee manages Bent Tree's water rights which have been deeded to the BTPOA.  The State of Colorado issued our well permits conditionally based upon the proper implementation of the water augmentation plan.

ENGINEERING.  The Engineering Committee addresses drainage of surface water so that runoff flows into pre-development water ways.
